*Disney provided my travel, accommodations, and tickets to Disneyland during the event. All opinions expressed are my own.
You may not know this but I am a bit of a Disney fanatic. I love Disney and when I heard that we would be visiting Disneyland during the Thor Dark World Event I squealed so loud that I’m sure my neighbors heard me. But we weren’t just visiting the parks to ride the rides, we were there on a mission…to be the first people to walk through and experience the Thor: Treasures of Asgard Exhibit.
Before we left for Disneyland we were all given our Free Loki t-shirts to wear in the parks. Since I am Team Loki I was stoked about wearing these shirts. As we walked through the parks I was amazed at how many people loved our shirts! We had several people asking where they could get their very own Free Loki shirt.
Our first stop of the day was the Indiana Jones Ride. I LOVE this ride so I was excited to get a chance to ride it again. After Indiana we were off to ride Pirates of the Caribbean. If you have been to both Disneyworld and Disneyland than you will know they each of these rides are a tad bit different. I actually prefer the Disneyland version of Pirates more because I think it’s a little bit longer and more detailed. The same goes with the Haunted Mansion, which was up next. I love the Haunted Mansion and it’s one of those rides that is on the must do list each time I visit a Disney park.
When you first get into the exhibit there are so many amazing treasures to see. Whether or not your a fan of the movie, comics or the Thor character these are really amazing things to look at.
We had no idea what to expect with this exhibit. I honestly thought it would be pictures and weapons from the movie but when the door opened and Thor was standing there, I was in totally shock. At first I seriously thought that Chris Hemsworth himself was standing there because this man looked just like him. Even though it wasn’t Chris this guy made a great Thor and plays the part well.
After the exhibit we all broke off into three different groups and I had the pleasure of being in the Team Gaby group! We were the thrill seekers of the bunch so we hit up Space Mountain, Tower of Terror and a few others in between. I had such a great time with all of these ladies.
I had such an amazing time at Disneyland. I really wish that I could go back to fully experience Disneyland at Christmas but I will be following along and living through others experiencing it first hand and you can too! You can show off your Disney side by tagging all of your fun Disney photos and videos with #Disneyside.
