If there is one thing that I have learned over the years about setting New Year’s resolutions it’s to make resolutions that are easy to reach. We all have good intentions when it comes to setting these goals but let’s face it, life can throw curve balls and it’s easy to get off track. I have learned over the years that I am much more likely to stick with a resolution if it’s a small goal verses something that is going to take a lot of time.
This year my resolutions were pretty simple, eat healthier meals and work on getting organized. The first few weeks or so were pretty easy and I did just what I set out to do. I stocked my kitchen with more fruits and veggies and starting working on my organization. But as we enter February I am finding that even though these goals are pretty easy, I am not doing as good as I could be. Eating healthier is not that hard of a goal but it’s not as easy as it sounds either. When faced with the option of eating a cupcake or an apple I have found that more times than none I will go for the cupcake. I am working hard at changing these habits but I know it’s gonna take time. I know that I will never be able to give up sweets all together but if I can choose a piece of fruit instead of a sweet snack 3 out of 4 times, I know that I have succeeded.

Surprisingly I am doing pretty well with my resolutions!
I don’t make resolutions LOL. I just figure I will work toward something but not get disappointed if I don’t make it.
