Whenever I see my children learn a new skill such as math or reading as a parent it makes me extremely proud! School can be tough especially now days that classrooms are often packed to their maximum capacity. Math has never been my strong subject so it’s been one of my goals as a parent to help my children learn math skills at an early age to make it easier on them as they get older. One way I have done this is through online games such as Lola’s Math Train 2.
Lola’s Math Train 2 was made at the request of parents who wanted more challenging tasks from the best-selling game, Lola’s Math Train. With this newly released game players will have the chance to Hop on board and learn more challenging addition, subtraction and multiplication tasks with Lola Panda!
The game is designed for children between 6-8 years old or 1-3 grades. The game starts with easier tasks of addition and number sequencing perfect for those just learning their math skills. As the game progresses it gets more challenging as your child’s skills improve. My daughter Aubrey will turn 6 in March so she is just now learning how to add and subtract. I really loved how fun and interactive this game was because it kept her attention and turned learning math into something fun rather than a chore. One of Aubrey’s favorite parts of the game is when she gets to choose and outfit for the special costume party after finishing certain math tasks. Rewards like this give her incentive to keep trying and getting better with her skills.
For parents you can track your child’s progress with Lola Panda™ Progress Tracker. Here you will find an overview of which tasks are difficult or easy for your child.

I am a huge advocate of learning apps. I think they are a great way to help kids learn and actually retain the skills. Aubrey was really loved Lola’s Math Train 2 and I think it will help her get a head start when it comes to math skills for next school year.
