Last year I fell in love with those adorable hamsters that appeared on the Kia Soul commercial. It was pretty smart advertising on Kia’s part because it got me wanting to see what the fuss was all about with these trendy new vehicles. Last week while I was in Orlando for the Facing Fears Together trip, I finally got my chance.
At first glance the Soul is sleek and sophisticated. Once you step inside it’s very spacious and has all of the amenities that you could want in a new vehicle. The vehicle fits 4 people comfortably and has space in the back for luggage, groceries or sport equipment.
Here are just a few of the interior features with the 2014 Kia Soul:
Power Windows & Locks
Rear Camera Display
USB and Auxiliary Jacks
Bluetooth Wireless Technology
Remote Keyless Entry
Steering Wheel Mounted Audio Controls
Cruise Control
60/40 Split Folding Rear Seats
Auto Dimming Rear View Mirror
On the outside of the Soul you will find LED Positioning Lights and Tail lights, front fog lights, and auto-on/off protection lights. One of my favorite features with the Kia Soul is the Heated power folding mirrors with turn signal indicators. The folding mirror gives you so much more space when you are trying to park the car in a tight parking spot.
When I amĀ at home I drive an SUV and never realized just how much of a gas guzzler it is. While driving the Kia Soul I was able to get 26 miles per gallon which meant I didn’t even have to fill the tank up the entire trip. With high gas prices having a vehicle that gives you excellent gas milage is a plus.
The Kia Soul is backed with a 10 year/100,000 Limited power train warranty and 5 year/60,000 limited basic warranty to you can rest assure that if something happens to mess up or needs to be fixed, Kia has got you covered. The vehicle is a great value starting at only $26,000. I absolutely loved our time with the Kia Soul. It’s a really nice and trendy car and drives smooth not only through the city streets but also on the highway. If you are considering a new vehicle I would encourage you to take a test drive in a 2014 Kia Soul, you may be pleasantly surprised at what a great car this is.
