If you keep the slime in an air tight container with lid (I keep mine in a glad container) then it should keep for a few months. My kids actually still have slime that we made this summer. Hope the kids have a GREAT birthday!!!

im curious about how does it look like when it dries up? does it mold? does consistency change as it ages? my slime is not for kids, it’s for an art project. thank you!

I have just made this for my children as I loved playing with it when I was young, but it became more like play dough than slime! What did I do wrong and how can I correct it for next time? (The kids still love playing with it though).

So sorry about that MAtthew! I’ve done this before myself. When you get the emails there should be a box at the end that says unsubscribe from this conversation or something along the lines of that. Let me know if that helps. :)

Borax is very toxic. It is a natural substance but it kills ants and is very harmful for children to ingest even in small quantities. I would only do this with older children with close supervision.
