This past July my husband and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary in Branson, MO. During this trip we stayed at The Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing and had an absolute fantastic trip. Since then we have talked about wanting to take a family vacation to Branson during the holidays. So this past weekend my family and I headed to Branson to check out all of the activites that the city has to offer during the holiday season. This time around we decided to check out The Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel.
So on the way down to Branson, our trip wasn’t looking so good. Aubrey got sick about 3 hours in and threw up. We had to stop on the freeway and change clothes, I felt so bad for her but as soon as we cleaned her up she felt better. When we arrived at the hotel the staff were amazing! There was someone at the front door who greeted us and loaded up our luggage to be sent to our room. Check-in was a breeze and took about 2 minutes. After traveling with a sick toddler we were ready to get to our room and the staff were great at getting this done quickly.
When you first walk into The Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel it is just incredibly beautiful. The decor and lighting of the hotel are gorgeous and when you add the Christmas tree and lights it just put a huge smile on my face. As soon as the kids saw the enormous Christmas tree that wanted to go right to it.
Our room was on the 7th floor and had a fantastic view of The Branson Landing as well as the Branson Train which the kids LOVED seeing in the morning.
Even though the hotel is so large everything is very accessible. There are 4 main elevators so you can get to your room very quickly from the main entrance.
Our room was perfect! You know the saying “There’s no place like home” Well my new saying is “there is no place like the Hilton”! The room we were given was a Deluxe room with 2 Queen Beds. The rooms are very spacious and with a toddler and a six year old this is a must.
I hate to say this but the beds were more comfortable than my bed here at home. After sleeping 3 nights at The Hilton and coming home to my bed, I think it’s time for an upgraded mattress. The linens, pillows and comforter were all very clean and really soft and comfortable.
The bathroom was nice in size and had beautiful features like granite counter tops, tile floors, and framed mirror. The bathtub was a normal size tub that was very easy to get in and out of when taking a shower and bathing my toddler.
Since we have little ones we decided to bring snacks and breakfast foods like cereal, doughnuts, etc. This not only saved us a little money on eating out but it was a major convenience. The room comes with a Cuisinart coffee pot and mini fridge so we stocked the fridge with milk, pop and other goodies and morning time was so much more enjoyable with breakfast and snacks ready to go!
There are a few places in the room that are great for doing your work or business. My son took advantage of this desk and drew pictures in his own little spot. There is plenty of room to hook up your laptop and there is even a place to connect to the internet.I don’t have a laptop but I did use the WIFI that the hotel offers at an additional charge for my IPhone.
We loved our room and with Aubrey being sick most of the trip being in such a comfortable setting made things 100% better. Everyday we were provided with clean towels, and the wonderful cleaning staff did a great job making our room look perfect everyday!
Stay tuned for Part 2 to hear about the rest of the features that The Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel has to offer!
