Holiday entertaining is one of the things I love to do the most. There is something very special about getting all your friends and family together, in one place to celebrate the holidays.Of course it just wouldn’t be a holiday party without a cocktail (or two, or three) so with the help of Zevia Zero Calorie Soda I have come up with three delicious and festive drinks to serve at your next get-together.
Zevia Zero Calorie Soda is the perfect addition to your holiday cocktail recipes for many reasons. First it’s got zero calories! Secondly, it contains no sugar and no artificial sweeteners. So how is Zevia Zero Calorie Soda sweet without any sugar? Well that’s a great question. Zevia is naturally flavored by Stevia which gives the soda it’s sweet taste. There are 15 different flavors of Zevia to choose from including Ginger root beer, lemon lime twist, cream soda, grapefruit citrus, cola, cherry cola, lime cola, grape and orange.
Below are some holiday cocktails that I recently created using Zevia Zero Calorie Soda. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did.
Strawberries N’ Creme Cocktail
Here’s what you need:
- 1/2 Can of Zevia Grapefruit Citrus Soda
- 2 Tablespoons of Irish Creme
- 1/2 shot of Vodka
- 2 Large strawberries sliced
- 1/2 Cup of ice
Preparation time: Less than 5 minutes. Makes one cocktail 4 ounce serving.
Add ice to glass. Next add sliced strawberries. Add the vodka, and cold Zevia Grapefruit Citrus Soda. Stir well. Lastly add the Irish creme and stir lightly. Add a whole strawberry to the side for garnish.
I really LOVE this cocktail. It’s got all the right flavors for not only a holiday drink, but an anytime drink. While this drink is a little bit strong the irish creme really helps balance it out and gives this a sweet flavor.
Anything but Grinchy Mocktail
What you need:
- 1/2 can of Zevia Ginger Ale
- 1/2 cup of cranberry juice
- 1/4 cup pineapple juice
- 1/4 cup of orange juice
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- Sliced orange and cherry for garnish
Preparation Time: Less than five minutes. Makes approximately 12 ounce serving.
Add ice to a festive glass, then cranberry juice, then cold Zevia Ginger Ale, then pineapple juice, then lemon juice and lastly orange juice. Stir well. Add a sliced orange and cherry for garnish. Serve immediately.
The name for this drink popped in my head when I saw the bright green Zevia can in the store. I knew that whatever kind of cocktail I made it would have to be something sweet and not sour. Hence the name “Anything but Grinchy”. This mocktail is alcohol free so it’s perfect to serve at parties where there are guests under 21 or those or don’t like to drink alcohol. However, you can easily add 1 shot of vodka to turn this into one fantastic cocktail.
Ginger Root Beer Float Cocktail
What you need:
- 3/4 can of Zevia Ginger Root Beer
- 1 shot of Frangelico Liqueur
- 1/2 shot of vodka
- Whipped Cream and Cherry
Preparation Time: Less than five minutes. Makes approximately 12 ounces.
Add ice to a large mug, then ice cold Zevia Ginger root beer, then Frangelico, last vodka. Stir well. Top with whipped cream and a cherry on top. Serve immediately.
The root beer cocktail is probably my favorite of the three. It tastes just like a root beer float but with a kick too it. Be sure to add lot’s of ice to your drink because you want it to be really cold. It’s just so much better that way.
You can pick up Zevia Zero Calorie Soda at your local Whole Foods Market in the drink aisle. It’s located near the chips and other soda. Whole Foods Market also has many other festive and delicious foods that will match up perfectly with these cocktails. Zevia Zero Calorie Soda is such a wonderful treat. No more feeling guilty for enjoying the sweet things in life.

My #CheersTo moment is pretty big deal to me. This year I actually got the Christmas tree up, shopping done and presents wrapped a whole two weeks before the big day. This is a new record for me and I am thrilled that I will have two weeks to really enjoy my family during the holidays. No rushing around, just relaxing and taking it all in.
What do you #CheersTo this Holiday season?
