I just found out, and I was too excited not to share the news, that the sequel to Finding Nemo is finally in the works. Finding Dory will be swimming into theaters November 2015 and Ellen DeGeneres will reprise her role as this very lovable character.
When Dory said “just keep swimming” in 2003’s Oscar®-winning film “Finding Nemo,” she could not have imagined what was in store for her (not that she could remember). Ellen DeGeneres, voice of the friendly-but-forgetful blue tang fish, revealed details today about Disney•Pixar’s “Finding Dory”—an all-new big-screen adventure diving into theaters on Nov. 25, 2015.
According to the press release Finding Dory takes place about a year after the first film and will feature all of your favorite characters from the first movie. This includes Marlin, Nemo and the whole tank gang. There will also be some new character’s introduced in the movie.
It’s been over 10 years since Finding Nemo so I am super excited to hear that they are finally coming out with a sequel. Finding Dory will hit theaters November 25th, 2015! I will be updating you guys with news about the movie as it comes available but in the meantime you can follow along at:
