*I received a copy of Disney Planes Video Game in exchange for my honest review. All opinions expressed are my own.
As a family who loves just about anything Disney, we love it when a new Disney movie comes to theaters. Just a couple of weeks ago Disney released their newest animated film Planes which has quickly become a family favorite. To go along with the release of the movie on August 6th Disney Planes the video game was released. My kids and I have loved being able to team up and fly as some of our favorite planes characters.
From above the world of “Cars”, Disney Planes the video game takes players on a high-flying, actin packed, fun filled adventure with Dusty, a big hearted, speed loving crop duster. Take to the skies and continue the storyline beyond the film with Dusty and other characters form the film, including Ishani, Echo and Bravo, as they embark on global missions, air races and grand adventures around the world.
Game Features:
Play as one of the 10 cast of characters from the film with pick-up and play flight controls
From Propwash Junction to China, travel through 10 breathtaking enviroments inspired by the film.
Four Exciting Modes of Play: Air Rallies, Story, Free Flight and Balloon Popping fun!
1-2 Players: Experience universe of “Disney’s Planes and choose your characters in single-player or drop-in and drop-out co-op play with any of the characters featured in the game.
We received Disney Planes for the Wii and it has been such a fun game for not only my kids but also my husband and I. We definteily got into the competitive spirit when racing against each other. There is also different adventures that you are sent on throughout the game which makes it much more than just a racing game. Up to 2 people can play at a time with the multi-player mode. When you first start the game you will be sent into flight school where you learn all of the moves. It’s pretty easy to catch on and it didn’t take long for my 5 year old to be controlling her plane all by herself.
Disney Planes is available online and in stores now.
