Epcot is one of those Disney Parks that you can explore for hours. There is so much to see and do in every part of the park. But one of my families favorites is in Epcot. The Seas with Nemo and Friends is an aquatic wonderland that is home to many different live sea creatures including some familiar faces you might recognize from Finding Nemo.
Epcot: The Seas with Nemo and Friends
The Seas is home to a massive 5.7-million-gallon saltwater aquarium which just so happens to be the second largest salt-water aquarium in the U.S. Throughout The Seas you will be able to get up close and personal with some pretty interested sea creatures and learn all about them.
While we toured the facility during the Monkey Kingdom Event, we were able to go backstage and see how things work on the inside. It’s pretty interesting getting a view of the aquarium from above.
One of my favorite parts about The Seas with Nemo and Friends is the dolphin training that you get to experience up close. They do this training a few times everyday so no matter what day you visit you can attend. It’s really incredible how smart these dolphins are. My good friend Toni from A Daily Dose of Toni got to help out with the dolphin training during our visit. Below are some highlights.
Living With the Land Ride At Epcot
In addition to the aquarium side of The Seas, there are also a few must ride rides! These include the Finding Nemo ride, Soarin and Living With The Land. Living With the Land is about a 15 minute ride that is very interesting. Did you know that in this part of Epcot Disney grows it’s on vegetables!
The Seas with Nemo and Friends is an amazing part of Epcot that you don’t want to miss. I would recommend allowing at least 1-2 hours to fully experience all that The Seas has to offer.
