As a guest of Explore Branson I received complimentary tickets to Branson Zipline. All opinions expressed are my own.
The first time I ever jumped off of a ziplining platform my heart was racing like it never had before. I wasn’t sure if I could even make myself do it, but once I did that was the end of it. I was officially hooked. Ziplining is one of those activities that everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime. It’s exhilarating to glide across a zipline with the wind in your hair and beautiful nature surrounding you. Every time I visit a new place on vacation I almost always search for places to zipline in the area. Branson is one of those places that I have been dying to zip through and I finally got my chance this past weekend with Branson Zipline.
There are three different options when it comes to zipping at Branson Zipline. These include:
- Flying Prospector Canopy Tour – 4 ziplines, 7 sky bridges, allow 1.5 hours
- Ozarks Xplorer Canopy Tour – 7 ziplines, 10 sky bridges, allow 2.5 hours
- Canopy Adventure Combo – 8 ziplines, 10 sky bridges, 1 freefall, allow 3.5 hours
We opted for the first tour which was a great way to start off the day. This was my husband’s first time ziplining so I would say that this is definitely a great tour for the beginner because it’s short but has enough ziplines to really get your adrenaline pumping. Before you begin your tour you are suited up in your gear and helmet and then loaded onto a Pinzgauer Swiss Army Troop Carrier, which takes you about a mile and a half up Wolfe Mountain. Once at the top you will be given instructions on what you will need to do. Don’t worry, the guides will take care of almost everything for you, there are just a few minor things that you need to take care of like not touching your straps. Along the tour the guides will also tell you a fun story about how the history behind the mountain which is very interesting.
My kids are just a little bit too small to zipline so they joined my mom and enjoyed the Wolfe Creek Photo Safari Guided Walking Tour. Their tour guide for the journey was the amazing Andrew. My mom was so impressed with Andrew and how he went above and beyond to make sure the kids had a great time. He even planted gemstones along the trail for the kids to find. When we met up at the end of the tour my kids were so excited to show me their special finds that they had found.
I have ziplinned in many places across the US and I have to say that the Branson Zipline and Canopy Tour definitely ranks up their in the top three. The staff is amazing and great at making every feel at ease and loosen up. There were a few younger kids on our zip lining tour and the guides went above and beyond to make sure that they felt comfortable and had the time of their lives.
After your done with your zipping adventure or walking safari, I highly recommend you check out the gift shop. There are so many fun items and it’s all reasonably priced. Watch out though, you may run into the resident Grizzly bear.
We had an amazing time at Branson Zipline! It’s well worth the visit and a great place to mark zipping off your bucket list. I will definitely be returning, but this time I would love to conquer the free fall Xpress.
