Like most kids, Aubrey and Jeremy love to play with toys in the bathtub. Since Jeremy was little I have tried to find ways to store the water toys in the bathroom without causing a lot of clutter. This has been a constant battle and somewhat of a pain because most of the toys have to be air dried before they can be put back into the container under our sink. Most of the time they are left there overnight and the next morning whoever takes a shower first gets to fish all of the toys out of the tub and into the toy container. This is not a fun job when your first waking up.
Boon Inc. offers a wide variety of products to help parents tackle problems such as mine all around the world. There committed to creating the most innovative gear while keeping it affordable. The Boon design studio is always in motion, tackling one parenting challenge after another while keeping children’s safety and product quality a top commitment.
Boon Inc. recently sent our family the red Lady Bug Pod.
At first glance the bug pod just looks like a lady bug but it is so much more! The Bug Pod has two different pieces the black base which connects to the wall, holds the red scoop and also has a shelve that you can place your shampoo and soap on. The second part is the red scoop that is used to easily contain and drain your child’s toys. With one quick scoop all of the toys are neatly in place and left to drain without any trouble at all.
Aubrey actually loved playing with the bug pod as a toy and would scoop her toys up and then dump them out over and over again. She really liked watching the water pour out of the removable scoop.
The Bug Pod is very easy to assemble and attach to the wall. It comes with an adhesive backing or you can use the screws it comes with. My bathtub has tile so I used the adhesive to attach the Bug Pod. The directions say to clean the wall with soap and water, let dry and then wipe the area with alcohol. After doing this I attached the black board to the tile and it stuck perfectly! I let it sit for a minute or so and then I attached the other pieces.
This is the perfect addition to our bathroom and makes bathtub not only much more enjoyable for my kids but it makes cleanup and storage much easier. The removable scoop is actually very big and holds lot’s of toys.
We love our new Red Bug Pod and I would recommend this as a great product for any parent! I have a few baby showers coming up this year and I think the Bug Pod would make the perfect gift.
