There were some very happy people on Christmas morning at our home, including my husband. You should have seen his face when he ripped open the snowman covered wrapping paper to reveal Assassin’s Creed Rogue. My husband as been a fan of Assassin’s Creed for years and has been dying to get his hands on this game.
Assassin’s Creed Rogue
18th century, North America. Amidst the chaos and violence of the French and Indian War, Shay Patrick Cormac, a fearless young member of the Assassin Brotherhood, undergoes a dark transformation that will forever shape the future of the American colonies. After a dangerous mission gone tragically wrong, Shay turns his back on the Assassins who, in response, attempt to end his life. Cast aside by those he once called brothers, Shay sets out on a mission to wipe out all who turned against him and ultimately become the most feared Assassin hunter in history. ESRB Rating: MATURE with Blood, Intense Violence, Strong Language
First let me say that if you are a fan of the Assassins Creed series, this game may be a bit of a change for you. In the game you’re going from be the hunter to being the hunted. You’ll experience the Assassin’s Creed universe from the perspective of a Templar. Your character, Shay, has the skills of a Master Assassin, but he also possesses new abilities, like enhanced eagle vision, and weapons, such as the deadly air rifle and grenade launcher. It really brings a whole new element to the game.
Like the other Assassins Creed games, the graphics are incredible. Rogue features different kinds of scenery and a vast and diverse open world to explore. You’ll go from the cold winds and towering icebergs of the arctic to New York City fully recreated as it existed in the 18th century.
Assassins Creed Rogue Is Easy To Play
Assassin’s Creed Rogue is really easy to play even for a occasional gamer like myself. Sometimes I get frustrated when playing action based games but that just wasn’t the case with Rogue. But don’t worry. Rogue is still a challenging game.
Assassin’s Creed Rogue: Limited Edition
Assassin’s Creed Rogue is available on Playstation 3, PC as well as XBOX 360. We received the The limited edition for the XBOX 360 which includes special features such as The Siege of Fort De Sable Mission with Bonus fort-raiding mission and The Ultimate Hunter Pack with exclusive collection of Templar weapons and items.
Overall I give Assassin’s Creed Rogue two big thumbs up! It’s been a really fun game and a great addition to the series. We’ve been playing Rogue for a couple of weeks now and it’s been great. We haven’t had a chance to finish it yet but honestly I’m in rush.
