This past week my husband and I decided to take a little road trip to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. Normally when we do vehicle reviews, we have the whole family so we go with larger SUV type vehicles. However this time, since it was just the two of us, I figured this would be the perfect opportunity to test drive a mid-sized vehicle such as the 2015 Buick LaCrosse. The LaCrosse is gorgeous inside and out. To me, from a visual point of view, it just screams luxury.
- Type: Midsize Sedan
- Price: $39,970
- Fuel Economy: 25 City; 36 HWY
- Perfect For: Anyone who likes Luxury Cars
- Seats: 5
- Notable Features: Quiet Ride, Backup Camera, LED Accent Lighting
Inside the LaCrosse you will find lot’s of storage and plenty of room to stretch. And thanks to premium QuietTuning® technology, you’ll get a nice quiet cabin to enjoy the ride. Of course with any vehicle you have the option of what types of seats, and other features you will get. But I highly recommend the leather. You’ll also be super comfortable as far as temperature goes with the dual-zone climate controls and heated front seats. This was actually one of my favorite features because my husband likes it freezing cold and I don’t. You can also adjust the front seats in eight different directions which gives the driver and passenger more control and comfort at all times.
The eight-inch-diagonal color Informational Screen easily helps you see your vehicle data such as mileage, how much gas you have, what speed you’re going and even tire pressure. The screen even tells you what the current speed limit is in the are your driving.
And for those passengers who can’t leave home without Wi-Fi, your in luck! New for 2015, the LaCrosse features OnStar with 4G LTE and standard built in Wi-Fi Hotspot. This is HUGE for someone like me who travels a lot. I am able to get my work done while my husband drives. And for those who have kids, this means they can watch movies on Netflix from their electronic devices.
Now as much as I love all the luxurious features safety is my number one priority. Especially since I carry my most precious cargo with me most of the time. The Buick LaCrosse safety features include 8 airbags, (front and back) a back-up camera, battery run down protection, theft deterrent system and Stabilitrack with traction control. These are just a few of the safety features.
I also wanted to point out how much room is in the LaCrosse trunk. It’s huge and could easily fit several suitcases, groceries or whatever else you needed to stuff in there. This is actually much more spacious than I had anticipated.
The Buick LaCrosse is great vehicle inside and out. I would definitely recommend it, to anyone wanting a mid-sized luxury. For more information on the LaCrosse be sure to check them out online or at your local Buick dealership.
